Mario had other business ventures where he achieved success, yet he wanted to open a gelato shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. Having grown up in a small town in Southern Italy called Torre del Greco, one of his favorite childhood memories was eating gelato with his family. The gelato in Italy is considerably different than the gelato in America as the gelato in Italy is not pasteurized so you get a pure cream, and this is what Mario wanted to re-create here.
Mario owned a commercial property and he engaged Waters Business Consulting Group to help develop the plan to launch and market the store.
